| There is an endless song, echos in my soul. I hear the music ring. And though the storms may come, I am holding on. to the Rock I cling... How can I keep from singing your praise? How can I ever say enough, "how amazing is your love?" How can I keep from shouting your name? I know I am loved by the King, And it makes my heart wanna sing!! I will lift my eyes in the darkest night, for I know my Saviour lives And I will walk with You, knowing You'll see me through, and sing the songs you give! How can I keep... I can sing in the troubled times, sing when I win. I can sing when I loose my step, and I fall down again I can sing 'cause you pick me up, sing 'cause you're there I can sing 'cause you hear me Lord when I call to you in prayer. I can sing with my last breath, sing for I know that I'll sing with the angels and the saints around the throne! How can I keep from singing your praise? How can I ever say enough, "how amazing is your love?" How can I keep from shouting your name? I know I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart wanna sing! -Chris Tomlin | | |
| Hey people, For those of you who care what's going on with me these days, for your sakes I will try to update you on the last oh... let me see, about five months of my life. Well a month ago my favorite hockey team to watch, you guessed it the pittsburgh penguins actually made it to the stanley cup finals. And though it was fun to watch such world class young hockey talents doin their thing, I tried to remain objective and not get too emotionally involved like having a bad day when they lost and crying about game calls and other such immature actions. But I was pretty proud of myself that I won the only sort of "bet" that i made with my gf after she promised she would wear a Penguins hat instead of her regular UK one, IF they made it to the finals. Well they did make the finals but lost to the mighty Red Wings who have been practically dominating hockey for most of the last decade. Well my life has consisted of little more than the weekly work schedule. It's so good to have summer back after a wet dismal winter and an allergy-ridden spring. But besides my occasional trips to the "sunny south" I've kind of been just here at home not doing much of anything exciting. This last weekend I went all the way to Winnipeg, MB to see my old bible shcool buddy Lanus Dueck. Well the purpose of the trip was probably more to go see my girlfriend in Dryden where I spent most of last summer, at Beaver Lake Camp. It was good to see everyone there at camp again. Jus kind of sad I'm not going to be there for the summer again, but it seemed God didn't have that in mind. It was also cool to have Zack (Monica's brother) around again for a few days: ...Me an Zack at the airport. dunno what the cheesy grins are about lol
....oh and, nice outfit Zack!! and I just have to put one hockey picture on for all you who love the game lol...

| Hey wanna know how to get 25 comments on your blog in three days?? My prior posting would tell you how. Or just ask thevincenator!! So after two months of "wow", "is she your girlfriend?", "how long u been dating??" "Where did you find her?" and "Awww how'd you two meet??", I'll explain: I met her almost three years ago at my friend's wedding. And yeah she got my attention. So 2 and a half years later when I finally actually had time for a girlfriend, thanks to the good Lord she still wasn't taken. So the first six weeks of this new year have been great. Work has been limited because of the weather. But it started out in Florida where I was hangin out with my friends from home, my SC friends Steve and Lisa, and of course Monica and her family. Two weeks later found me in SC again this time to use up a Christmas present: tickets to a Penguins, Thrashers game, thanks to my gf. It was fun even though my boys lost in OT. We had fun walkin around down town Atlanta and just chillin like old times with my buddy Steve and his wife Lisa of course. This past weekend was good too. Monica came to my house for the first time, and we went to De's wedding on Sat. I got to hang out with some SMBI pals from about four years ago including my old room mate Lanus and his little family who I had never met. Hopefully we didn't disrupt the reception too bad but we shared some good ole laughs like old times. And it was way cool to hang out with my NY homies Jon, Anlynn, Arlynn, Derell, Ingrid, and Randy sat. night. Jon conducted a lil counseling session as usual lol. Anyway so right now it's snowing outside I'm sittin here in my recliner and I'm too lazy to find pictures to post but I guess i will since this whole post is a lil boring. I didn't get many good pics form the game. But here's one of the pre-game skate: Downtown Atlanta was pretty cool. This is the World of Coca-Cola.
Steve tryin some kind of coke product. Probably some nasty concoction made in Cameroon or somewhere. Sunday night my friend Roman Troyer (on right) stopped by to say hello and play a few tunes. It was great to see him again. My bro. Mike is playin the bass.
tryin to get a 15 month old and a 17 moth old to pose for a picture can be interesting.
Monica hangin out with my nephews Lane and scott.
...and the best for last!!
